Freeze Dried Crust Less Chicken Pot Pie with Pasture Raised Shredded Chicken
This is COOKED freeze dried, pasture raised right here on our farm- chicken cuts, from breast and leg quarters, mixed vegetables and cream of chicken soup, that is it- 3 ingredients. You must reconstitute it. We have found that 8 oz of hot water per 2-2.3 oz of freeze dried product is the perfect consistency. Pour in a shell and bake until shell is brown or my favorite is pour in a dish and add biscuits on top- cook until biscuits are brown. Shelf stable as long as it remains in the mylar bag with oxygen absorber. The shelf life on freeze dried products is upward to 25 years.
Great for hiking/ camping trips were taking a cooler full of fresh meats/ meals isn't an option. These little mylar bags are super lightweight. Once a product is freeze dried there is NO moisture in the product and you must reconstitute it to make it ready to eat.
Add 8 oz or more or less depending on how thick you want it and your dish will be ready in no time. Enjoy the benefits of pasture raised without all the work. Or you can eat it right out of the bag.
Each bag contains 2 oz of freeze dried, cooked shredded chicken, mixed vegetables and cream of chicken soup.
