Freeze Dried Cheddar & Monterey Jack Cheese Shreds
Do you ever just need shelf stable cheese, that requires no refrigeration? I have solved all your problems with this one. Freeze drying is a process that removes all the moisture from a product and allows it to be shelf stable for upwards of 25 years. You can add moisture either by adding liquid or just adding the crumbles directly in to you recipe. Once reconstituted- you will need to refrigerate.
This is a great way to transport for camping/ hiking or just a nice clean snack.
